bioMérieux Opens First On-site Health Center in St. Louis Area

ST.LOUIS, Feb.16, 2016- bioMérieux, Inc, a subsidiary of bioMérieux, a world leader in the field of in vitro diagnostics, today announced the opening of its first on-site employee health center, bioMérieux Live Well Center, located in the Hazelwood, Mo. office. Cerner, a global leader in health care, will staff and operate the center. The state-of-the-art facility offers convenient access to high-quality medical care for the company’s 1,100 St. Louis area employees and their families.

The bioMérieux Live Well Center services include primary and urgent care. The employees and their immediate families can schedule school physicals, vaccinations and biometric screenings. The 1,750 square-foot center focuses its services and operations on its patients and their well-being. It features three consultative care suites equipped with Cerner’s leading health care technology to manage everything from patient records to appointment scheduling.

The bioMérieux employees and their families are able to interact with their providers, review their medical records and schedule appointments using a secure, online portal. The health center also offers an array of services to enhance bioMérieux’s employee wellness program. Employees can now receive annual physicals and additional wellness coaching and education.
