Lab Informatics Expert Joins bioMérieux

A world leader in in vitro diagnostics, bioMérieux today announced the appointment of Jacques L. Baudin as Vice President, Commercial Operations Information Technology.

Mr. Baudin has 20+ years of experience in the global business arena, specifically in the clinical laboratory, with particular expertise in Laboratory Automation, Data Management, Workflow, Processes and Information Systems. Prior to joining bioMérieux, Mr. Baudin held a number of product, business development and management positions with IVD and LIS companies, such as Bayer Diagnostics, Technicon, Technidata and Sysmex, in the Americas, Asia-Pacific (Japan) and Europe. During that time, he successfully led strategic planning and development activities to launch new products and services on a global level.

"Jacques is joining our team as bioMérieux is launching and investing in innovative informatics solutions such as Myla™," said Thierry Bernard, bioMérieux’s Corporate Vice President of Global Commercial Operations. "He brings an extensive experience in this domain and will develop our informatics business." Mr. Baudin graduated from the University of Montpellier (France) with degrees in Electronics, and Business Administration & Sales Management.
